This is a very cool anthology. Kimberly Gardner and JP Bowie are the other authors.

A little bit of cross dressing action. This excerpt isn't exactly sexy maybe, but I think it gives a nice idea of the dynamic between Shawn and Roscoe before the true romance starts.

BTW, Shawn is in COLLEGE so he's old enough to be in one of my stories.

BLURB:

Switch roles? Roscoe may be a brilliant director, but Sean wants no part of this crazy idea. But when Roscoe suggests that Sean and his leading lady swap Beatrice for Benedict in their college’s production of Much Ado About Nothing, everyone else thinks it’s a terrific idea. Trapped by peer pressure and the awareness that Roscoe usually knows what he’s doing, Sean accepts the challenge only to quickly discover that he likes wearing skirts, both on and off stage. Even more than that, he likes the director’s reaction when he flashes a little leg.

Bonnie held Shawn's upper arms, staring down into his eyes. "With no sauce that can be devised to it. I protest / I love thee."

Shawn clutched at her elbows, lowering his gaze and twisting his head to the side, facing the audience. "Why, then, God forgive me!"

Bonnie cupped Shawn's jaw with her palm, urging his face upward. "What offence, sweet Beatrice?"

"You have stayed me in a happy hour: I was about to / protest I loved you." Shawn let his voice go breathy just before raising his eyes to meet Bonnie's.

She put her arms around him, pulling him closer. "And do it with all thy heart."

He put his arms around her, smiling. "I love you with so much of my heart that none is / left to protest."

Bonnie leaned down, tilting her head for the kiss.

"Stop."

So the steampunk/fantasy story has been turned in. Not sure when it's going to be released but it's in Loose Id's hands now and off my back. It's called Surseine Judgment and I'll keep you posted.

Meantime, I'm going back to the rockers. No, not the Indigo Knights. Not yet. This one's still Heaven Sent. Gretchen Hobbes, their manager, is getting a story. Yes, I know, girls in yaoi? How could I? Well, I'm hoping my dear readers can forgive me this one. I thought Gretchen really needed a story. And, if it's any consolation, she gets two men. That help? In preparation for this story, I've been re-reading the HS books for the last week and making sure I've got my facts straight on them. I should be ready to get started this weekend. It's called Heaven Sent: Revelations. I guess it's technically book 6 but it feels like kind of an off-shoot. But, with this addition, maybe Genesis can go into print.

Some of you may have caught wind that I was going to start the next Dark Elves book after Judgment. Well... I was going to do that. But after a fantasy epic that kicked my ass and Dark Elves 5 that kicked my ass, I figured I needed a fantasy world break. Oh yeah, I had Unicorn and About Something in between there, but both of those were relatively short pieces. Dark Elves 6 promises to be longer and a tad complicated so I switched things around to give myself a break. If all goes as planned, the elves should be my next project after Revelations.

Let's see, what else do I have planned...? Devon Cream, About Something, and Pulling the Dragon's Tail should all come out in anthologies sometime this year. I plan to not sign up for any anthologies for at least the first half of this year in favor of doing books. I do plan on getting started on the Indigo Knights this year. I'm trying to put together the synopsis for Leashed 4 to send in any day now. I'm planning a sequel to One For The Team. I have an m/m Robin Hood idea that I'd really like to get started on and I just might go back to my "big book" sometime this year, if schedule permits.

That's all I can think of at the moment. Busy, busy! Thank you all for staying tuned!
